Aberfeldy 16Yr Single Malt

The appearance is clear, deep coppery amber with burnished copper highlights. Aroma of boatyard varnish, fried fruit, linseed and burnt fruitcake with vanilla and floral honeysuckle. Dry, oaky, spiced palate with more burnt fruit cake, brazil nuts, oak tannins and eucalyptus and pine needles. Lingering dry oak sherry with blackened fruitcake. Full appreciation of this malt is reliant on judicious dilution – neat is too much but a splash completely kills it.
