Traditional, 100% destemmed. Controlled fermentation between 26 and 28 C with native yeast selected from our own vineyards. Maceration with the skins for 24 days, with two pumping over daily at the beginning and a light pumping over during the last ten days. Aged for 14 months in French and American oak Bordeaux barrels. Age of the barrel: maximum of three wines.
TASTING NOTES
Ruby-red of medium-high intensity, with slight orange hues on the rim of the glass. Intense aroma with light lactic notes, red fruits and spices. It shows a good development of the secondary aromas of the aging (vanilla, cocoa, roasted). In the mouth it is tasty, well armed, with ripe tannins in a good acidity-alcohol balance. The fruity character slightly dominates over the toasted, roasted, cocoa and vanilla flavors, giving it complexity.
