Marqus de Tomares Joven ‘Excellence’ 2022

Classic aromas of Tempranillo from Rioja with char/graphite and new leather hide and tobacco all linger under a pretty, sour cherry and pomegranate floral bonnet. The whole cluster maceration and carbonic spark add a juicy pop that bursts on the pallet, but the few months in the barrel add an herbaceous softness to those high-toned edges. A perfectly easy drinking, lively and fun, fresh expression of Tempranillo in its youth.
